Terms of Service

CHAT CLYDE SLP (“Clyde”, “we”, “us”) is an AI research assistant available at chatclyde.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You may try Clyde without an account. Signing in keeps your history, saved library and uploaded documents. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done through your account.

You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your country. If you are a school learner, an adult should agree on your behalf.

The free plan includes two searches a day and needs no card. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, and prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial months unless the law requires it.

Do not use Clyde to create or seek help with content that harms people: self-harm instructions, attacks on computer systems, illegal activity, hate, harassment, or sexual content involving minors.

Do not attempt to bypass safety limits, resell access, scrape the service in bulk, or upload documents you have no right to share.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Clyde drafts answers with AI and shows the sources it used. Answers can be incomplete or out of date, and cited law can be amended after publication.

Nothing Clyde produces is legal, medical or financial advice. Check the cited sources and speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything that matters.

You keep ownership of the questions you ask and the documents you upload. You give us permission to process them so we can provide the service to you, including sending the relevant text to the AI providers that generate answers.

We do not sell your content, and we do not show one account's material to another account.

We work to keep Clyde available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.

To the extent the law allows, Clyde is provided “as is” and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
