Privacy Policy

1. What this covers
This policy explains what CHAT CLYDE SLP collects when you use chatclyde.com, why we collect it, who else processes it, and the choices you have.
2. What we collect
Account details: your email address, and your plan and payment status.
What you send us: your questions, the answers produced for you, and any documents or images you upload.
Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service, such as request times and error reports.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information you do not need to share.
3. Why we use it
To generate answers and read the documents you upload; to keep your history, library and projects; to apply your daily limit or paid plan; to take payment; to prevent abuse; and to fix problems.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your private documents to train our own models.
4. Who processes your data
AI providers generate the answers, so the text of your question and the relevant parts of your documents are sent to them for that purpose.
Our hosting and database provider stores your account, chats and documents. Our payment processor handles card details — we never see or store your full card number.
Each of these acts on our instructions and only for the purposes above.
5. Keeping your data separate and secure
Your chats, documents and saved answers are locked to your account by database rules, so one account cannot read another's material. Administrators see totals and counts, not your content.
Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, so please avoid uploading material you cannot afford to have exposed.
6. How long we keep it
Chats, documents and saved answers stay until you delete them — you can clear all conversations from the sidebar at any time. Deleting your account removes your content; limited billing records are kept where the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also object to certain processing or complain to your data protection authority.
Write to privacy@chatclyde.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
Younger learners may use Clyde with the agreement of a parent, guardian or school. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than is needed to provide the service.
9. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and its date. Questions: privacy@chatclyde.com.
